Looking for a later report date?

Report Date Swap?

I don't know if it's possible, however it couldn't hurt to ask about switching report dates.

Although I requested the earliest report date possible, I'm scheduled to report to IFS/API in November. If there was someone out there who is in the opposite situation (looking for a later report date but going soon), I wonder if a switch could be arranged?

Well if you, or anyone you know is looking to party a little longer before SNA training, or if you have any insight on the issue please let me know.

To the OP, honestly I'm with you man. Don't listen to all the "enjoy your xxx months off" posts if you want to get started. I didn't, requested for, recieved and checked in on the earliest date possible, classed up for API w/n 3 weeks, and was out after 9 weeks total in P'cola. And even w/ all that effort, I'm still sitting on my butt for a month in Corpus before Primary. There is more free time than you can shake a stick at, and if I had sat around in P'cola for any long period of time, I would really be going crazy right now. If you're as stoked as I am to start flying the T-34 (or just flying again at all), then you know exactly what I'm talking about. IMHO C-pool is where you want to relax. You have API out of the way, you muster at 8:30 instead of 7:30 (and there aren't all kinds of stash jobs that you have to dodge), you are wearing bags when at "work", and you can pretty much take as much leave as you have and go home. I've never been so relaxed haha :sleep_125

So keep at it, stranger things have happened than a class date swap. As a side note, there are dudes that I checked into NASC with back in April who still haven't classed for IFS. I don't even want to know when they will hit the VT's.
