CNN is reporting a Marine helo went down at Pendleton Thursday killing 3. I'm nowhere near the base - anybody got details?

Capt. Shawn Turner said Friday from Washington that there were no survivors when rescue crews arrived. Officials initially said one person had survived.

Turner said the identities of those killed were being withheld pending notification of their relatives.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

I would be suprised if they release the names nationally. Seems like it would be overly intrusive to these guys families.

The accident happen in far North east part of the base..in the hills..Weather was good in some ares of the city.With some Heavy fog in some mountins and cost areas.
