I live in Pensacola and am starting OCS on the 11th of Feb. I went to pick up the required pairs of tighty whities, and the only kind they had at the Portside NEX on NAS was white with a grey elastic band. Is the grey band allowable at OCS?? I figured they were since that's all that was sold at the NEX, but you can never be sure about these things. Thanks a bunch.:eek:

Go to "Mrs. Judy's" The NEX outlet that all OCS Candidates go to for their stuff.

That said I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Bring about 6-7 pair to wear during OCS and the ones you HAVE to buy from Mrs. Judys can be used for inspections.
