I am in the process of getting a package ready to submit for the BDCP program. I am a prior enlisted sailor.
I need to know if I need a medical record to submit my package for BDCP. I gave my record to the VA hospital and they lost it. Now I have had to order it from St. Louis. I was told that it can take up to 8 wks.
Is there someone out there who knows if I need my medical record to submit a package or when would I need it? When I go to OCS?

You should not need your medical info until you go to MEPS. MEPS is after you are pro-rec'd for a program, so you will not need it for your intial application.

You may not even need it at meps unless there is something that they will need to see in which case you should know before you get there.

As long as you have a current military physical (<6 months old), you will not need to attend meps. If you don't, try to talk them in to doing a reserve physical; much gentler, and they don't treat you like cattle.
