MEPS and recent dental surgery

My package still has yet to be sent in because of that lingering speeding ticket court case but my recruiter is excited as hell and wants me to get MEPS and such done before its even sent off. The next time they're making a trip for MEPS is a day when I have a post-op exam for some recent minor dental surgery, so I have to miss out on that trip.

My question is how much do they look at stuff like recent medical work? Should I bring paperwork from my dentist showing that I'm OK and it was just a minor thing or will it not be an issue?

Also, what kind of stuff is to be expected at MEPS? I know this has probably been asked a dozen times and I've searched quite a bit but still can't seem to find a thread that states exactly this. Can someone at least point me towards the correct search terms? :)

They make you fill out a form and report all of your medical history. They check your eyes, ears, nose, throat, grab your junk make you cough, give you the sticky finger, and make you crawl around on the floor. Then you pee in a cup and they call it a day. If you are currently taking any medication make sure you tell them.

Drink lots of water the day before, pee right when you wake up, and then drink more water. It'll help both your piss test and your vision test.
I got to the hotel the night before, and then sacked out for the night. In the morning, I got up at 4:30, got to MEPS at 5:45, they didn't open until 6. Then we got our folders that contained all our paperwork, got a quick briefing that tried to scare us into confessing about any injuries or medications. Don't change any answers that you told your recruiter and you'll be good. Just keep in mind that Yes always means more paperwork.
From there on, it's what jus2mch said...until 11ish, which is when you (hopefully) get out. All the recruits going off the Basic get to stay.
Hopefully they won't mess up anything like they did for me...I had to go back and finally got out around 2.
