MEPS digital storage of Physicals

July Final Select SNA
Does anyone here know any Information about the Storage or If MEPS physicals information is newly digital now or 19 months ago?

My problem is I was Pro-rec back in July and signed the proper forms to have my MEPS physical transferred from the Marines to the Navy as its MEPS policy to to redo physicals at all within 24 months without proper MEPS CO approval.

Well 95 days later after I thought my Physical was acquired and submitted to OPM for a Physically Qualified for Duty Letter, I was told Friday by my OR that the marine CAPT from the old OSS Station told my OR's NRD LT XO that it was expired. Its getting real frustrating as I was told by my OR about a month ago it was received and it had been uploaded for PQ letter to be issued, perhaps he had me mixed up with another applicant, I don't know.

Luckily I somehow had a copy and took it in to the NRD office that day and talked to the LT XO and Processor, the phyical is just missing the Blood and Drug Test Section. Could my copy be used or does it have to come from the Marine Office?

I feel I'm getting the run around and they are now saying I may have to go back to MEPS if my Physical is, "missing" from the Marines but I really feel since they don't deal to much with acquiring Physicals and most applicants are MEPS processed by them, no one really knows whats going on or giving me straight answers.

How Can there only be 1 paper Copy of my Physical? the Local MEPS station MUST have some sort of Physical on file either electronically or paper on me..right?

Please can someone give some insight here as I really don't want to go back to MEPS to redo everything all again as we all know a new MEPS Dr. and Physical could just do me more harm then good and add more headaches and processing time, and especially since I will have to redo a Pre-SNA physical in RI anyways.

Welcome to the mysterious ways of Military life. My only suggestion is to go in person, be professional and talk to the enlisted folks in records. They will know the ins and outs and may be able to track down the missing items. If not then your options are to continue to try and find it, wasting valuable time or suck it up and get a new physical. Best of luck.

I went through MEPS in December 2007 and wasn't pro-rec'd until May 2009. My MEPS was expired, but I did not have to redo it, there. I went to my civilian physician with the DD2807-2 and was good to go after that. Finger prints had to be redone and mailed in as well.

Ya hopefully everything works out and they "find" my physical I think it has something to do with basically the Marines doing all the work on me and the Navy basically just Pro-REC'ing. My biggest issue with going again is I have a condition called white coat syndrom (not officailly diagonized but was told this by MEPS tech's last time I was there) it causes my BP and heart rate to Spike to disqualifying hypertension levels since I have such abnormal anxiety to needles and blood. So it takes a 3 day measure.

My normal BP is fine once all the needles and blood are put away a hour or two later...just when that needle is around... strange I know, just another medical hassle with me.
