MOH Faker gets Jail Time

"A former soldier was sentenced on Nov. 1 to almost three years in federal prison for felony bank fraud and one misdemeanor count of falsely claiming that he had earned the Medal of Honor."

Apparently, the MOH claim was not just for bragging rights - he also used it to try and get loans, a free car, donations... all sorts of stuff. Great idea. :icon_rage

I don't care if he "feels badly". As a soldier he should know how offensive and desecrating this is. For every false claim, it takes away the value and meaning of the award from guys like Cpl Tibor Rubin who did unbelievably remarkable things in the face of unfathomable adversity.
