No go on flight...JAG???
hey guys,

Got an OAR of 40 first time around with the electronic and a 44 with the paper 2md time. I sure wish I had seen the gouge on this page before I retook. Oh, well. I'm going for SNA first, INTEL 2nd. Any quick takes on how I add up?

Also, how much attention will they pay to the fact that your GPA is dramatically higher after diving into your major? My first two years weren't too incredible, but this past year has been a huge improvement. Overall, so far i'm a 3.11.

Thanks!

Also, with this score, is it probably wise to just apply, and then take the test again in 6 months and apply again if I don't make it? I don;t see why it wouldn't make sense to at least apply now, since I would have to wait 6 months to take it again anyways.

I got a 40 OAR and had a GPA of 3.1 (not the best scores, I know). I got my first choice...NFO. It has been said before but it is worth repeating, "It's the overall package that counts."

The latest that I heard about two weeks ago was that a competitive OAR score for SNA was in the upper 50s

JCurl is right but if I were you Jetjock, I would be looking for every single niche that will improve your resume over the next applicant. Inches will make feet.

Yeah, gouge is good and all, but don't ever not try just because of what someone says, unless it is the board, then you are just screwed.

I'm applying for BDCP, so from what i've heard and seen on the forum, my scores aren't very competitive. by the way, whats the earliest you can apply for regular accession, 1st semester of senior year?

As many really good ones as you can muster up. People that have credibility when writing about you, not some admiral you just passed by in the p-way. I had 4.
