My scores and Intel

I took the ASTB today, and am a bit confused about my score. I got a 6/5/6, and a 58 OAR. My recruiter acted like that was very good, so I felt positive about it, and even gave away my study guide, thinking I wouldn't need to take it again (this was my first time). But now I'm reading these boards and finding out that maybe my scores aren't so great after all -- one guy ( http://www.airwarriors.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6480 ) had slightly higher scores than I did, and said he was disappointed and ineligible for some jobs! So what is it; are my scores good enough, or should I try to get my book back and test again in 31 days? If it makes a difference, my main interest so far is Intel -- are my scores good enough to get that?

And just to show how much of a newbie I am, can someone tell me what an SNA is?

58 OAR is pretty good, and that's the main thing they'll look at for intel (I think they might look at AQR as well).

SNA is student Naval Aviator.

SNA means Student Naval Aviator.

Although I haven't taken the ASTB, I see a lot of people post scores and yours seem about average or maybe a little above most scores.

Concur with the others. Your scores are good and your recruiter should be plugged in as far as what's competitive for your designator, so defer to him on that. I wouldn't worry about retaking it and go with what you have. Good luck! :D
