Nasis SF - 86 Form Trouble

Hey all,

Just wanted to post to see if anyone else is having the same trouble with the security check form that I am. I was set for Dec 16th class, then took an offer to go ahead for the Nov 25 class, but then my recruiter called me to tell me that he was emailed saying there are issues with my fingerprints so I am set to get those redone this Tuesday. He also said that I need to look over my already completed SF86 form and "make any changes if necessary".

I was able to get on for a couple hours the other day, however for the last three days the site wont load. I've tried a couple different wifi's, three different cpu, even plugged into a landline- but no luck. I guess worst case scenario Ill ask him if i can . do it up at the offices when i go for my fingerprints but yeah. Is anyone else having this issue? Any advice to fix it would be appreciated.

Does anybody know if the NASIS site is down? My OR is having me due my SF-86 but the website is not even populating when searching on google. Package is due Monday and OR is not really being any help. Perhaps a number I can call?

I'm trying to work on my SF-86 and it three different browsers have said that it isn't secure and won't even let me log in and I'm freaking out a bit.

I did not run into the same issues with NASIS but with most military websites, IE has been the best bet. Double check your privacy settings, compatibility mode, and trusted websites in your preferences. Turn off your pop up blocker. Clear your cache and try logging into it again.

I had to fill mine out while out of country. I needed to use a VPN IOT access the site but you wont need to do that unless you are elsewhere.

I hope you guys are able to get things rolling.

They made all the IWC folks in my class do another SF-86 while we were at OCS. They also fingerprinted us while we were there.

You just have to keep refreshing and logging in. Took me about 7-8 hours to do. I used Firefox.

I wasn't even able to get to a screen that allowed me to use the log in into that by recruiter gave me. I would sometimes make it to the 'click here to agree' screen. I used 4 different browers on a desktop/laptop/phone etc.

"Search Google"??? Get your OR to send you a direct hyperlink. My OR told me to go on the site without giving me a link, and I had to tell him to send it over. It happens.
You may have to reset the password if you haven't logged in for a while.

Hello,

Can someone elaborate or how NASIS works. I know it’s a complete background check .. but what if I get some of the details wrong when it comes to where I’ve lived for ten years. I’m almost 29 so I’ve lived a ton of places since I was 19. Also so they need all the family information? I don’t stay in contact with my family members so I don’t feel right giving that info out. I just don’t want to get in trouble for something that I don’t have control over.
