Navy OCS CGPA

I’m interested in commissioning as an Officer in the Navy and going for a Naval Aviator slot, but my CGPA is 2.8-2.9 GPA for my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Aerospace. I’ve been scouring the internet for days while I wait for a recruiter to get back to me, but is there a GPA requirement to be a Naval Aviator? Everything I’m currently seeing points to a 3.0 being the minimum allowed.

Was wondering if anyone had any insight here - just don’t want to get my hopes up and also prepare to look at another position I’d like to take up instead in the meantime. Any answers are much appreciated. Is there anything you all would recommend because I really do not want to give up this dream

Here's the aviation program authorization to research: https://www.mynavyhr.navy.mil/Porta...NFO_Nov-2023.pdf?ver=wPGLcbfwtNUYoWPi9Me5Uw==

No you don’t need a 3.0 GPA, I picked up a pilot slot with a 2.66 and I scored a 53 7/8/7 on the astb. You’re also in a more difficult major than most. Try your best to keep improving it. And go and take the astb. That is your first challenge you have to tackle.
