Does anyone know where a good place to go for a bunch of the Navy ProKnowledge. I'm helping a friend of mine study for the ASTB and she doesn't have the benefit of being in NROTC where a lot of that information gets passed around.

I have the ARCO book and we will definitely be using that, but if anyone else has other suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Yeah I searched through the forums. And I found some good stuff. The ASTB Gouge PDF that is floating around is great stuff. I was more looking for trivia type things that you see on the ASTB.

I remember when I took it one question was something like: What is the general procedure for two ships passing each other?

Port to Port
Starboard to Starboard
Which ever is easiest

These types of things are not really the issues that come up here. I could sit her down with the Rules of the Road, and I might still do that. But Im looking for an easier way.

I can answer/help her most of the questions that might come up Im just having trouble thinking of things for her to study. We will be using the ARCO book and the ASTB gouge PDF, but I was looking for something more.

The USNA midshipman's store sells copys of their "reefpoints" usually to get rid of all the extras they have after Induction day. There is some "pro knowledge" in their and they are pretty cheap if I remember correctly. About $10 for everything the academy thinks is important for a plebe to know. Check them out online.
