Navy's Legacy Hornet Problem Worse Than Once Thought?

For the VFA Guys out there; Is the problem as bad as the article makes it out to be (Most knew it was definitely an area of concern, But seems it's getting worse than once thought)? Several USN/USMC squadrons have already went back to the Alpha + (VFA-87,VMFA-232,VFA-106 has a few on hand just off the top of my head).

Best idea, IMO, Is to purchase a few more Echo Rhino's to hold the fort down in the Chucky community while the wait :)sleep_125) for the F-35C continues.

Isn't the navy leaning toward buying more hornets anyway to replace the C? I could be wrong but I thought I heard that the F-35C was getting to expensive because of all the modifications that would have to be made to make it suitable for carrier operations.
