Guys I need to get the address details for VFA-87. I know they are still on the TR somewhere in the mid Atlantic at the moment heading west. I worked with them a lot in Afghanistan over the last 4 months or so.I understand the security aspects of giving out details, however I have a bit of footage of them in action over Southern Helmand supporting me and my unit.I want to send it to them and also maybe get there ATFLIR recording of my drops.I would be very grateful if anyone could help me out.

Regards

Hey don't you EU types use ICAO, 5x5? Or did your time with us switch your terms?

Anyways, I think it's great that AW is going combined, thanks for joining and participating.

The french jets use 5x5,however we are fully signed up to US procedures. It becomes a bit of a drama for us Brit JTAC'S. Imagine speaking to US pilots/aviators on UHF for up 4 hours at a time and then getting on our own VHF/HF nets trying to use our own voice procedure(ground army)Not a chance,I gave up after a week so its air voice procedure for me. Dirves our signals warrent officer crazy, but hey who cares we have the cooler job.On that note, ''I am RTB,bingo and winchester on chat, pushing to FL000 for a stores check on my pillow, safe trip, happy landings and chat soon, oh and when you get back to the TR please have a hot shower and a cold coke for me sat out here in the desert '' Sorry guys slipped back into my old check routine.
