If anyone sees the NASA F/A-18 pilot ("Smoke") there... feel free to congratulate him... he just got picked up to be the Chief Engineer / Test Pilot up at NASA Dryden... he's a cool ass dude...

He, along with Navy CAPT Ed "Fast Eddie" Schneider were part of the HARV research program in which they expanded the High Alpha envelope of the F/A-18 Hornet and tested thrust vectoring, etc... to that effect paving the way for both the "Rhino" as well as the F-22's Pratt & Whitney F119 engine.
