Hey guys and gals I'm brand new to this site. A little about me. I'm an AW1 (AW/NAC) been in 12 years and am currently an instructor at the Naval Aircrew Candidate School. My work is directly across from OCS and I deal with all the training that all future aviators will do. I have 2,500 P-3 flight hours as a SS-1 Operator. I just wanted to offer any assistance I can to all of you since I am very much in the know about the flight stuff. I am only 8 classes away from my BS in Resource Mgmt and I will be putting in for OCS upon completion so I figured I might as well get to know you all now and learn as much as possible.

Your story sounds EXACTLY like a guy who was an instructor at Aircrew school when I was going through back in '90. One day he was teaching at NACS, the next day he was a poopy across the street and all his old buddies were laughing at him. Anyhow, welcome to the site and good luck with your transition. There are lots of prior Aircrew guys on here (myself included) who have made it over to the O side, so you're in good company.

Good times,

Brett
