NFO Board OCT 2011?

Any news on if there really is an NFO board this month?

It would be nice for the board to take place unbeknownst to everyone and I get a letter in the mail saying i got selected. That would be a sweet day..

There is no board this month. If you want to look it up it is a COMNAVCRUITCOM note dated for 01SEP2011 that lays out the board schedule and drop dead dates. If I find it I will post the link but the board is scheduled for 23 Jan 2012 with a drop dead date for applications on 23 Dec 2011.

AT3 Macklin, can you please share the link here for the board schedule? I know my package is going to be in the Supply board in Nov but not sure which date it is. Thanks!

I looked for it the other day on CNRC but could not find it. I know that the Fleet OCS Processor told me about the notice and he also said that Supply's next board was on Jan 23rd along with Pilot and NFO. I don't think there is one in November but that would be awesome if there was!

While there are 5 scheduled throughout the next year, the first is not until 23JAN as AT3Macklin stated.

I emailed fleet processor last week n he said the next board will be held in Nov, unless they changed again....if the board is in Jan then the result probably comes out by late Jan/early Feb.... If my transferring day is 01Feb, will I still transfer to the next command or stay at the current one? The reason I'm asking is because my command never had any OCS applicant before and the NC has no idea about it too... Thanks for your help!!

I would talk to your detailer if you want to know right away. My understanding of a final select letter is that it is also the order mod so the detailer should know more of what is going on in that situation. I can guaranty that if you are PCSing then you will stay where you are but if you are going down the street then it probably won't be much of a big deal.
