No tri engine rating either.........:icon_wink My commercial helo rating in a Sikorsky S-80 is tantamount to a commercial rating in a Robinson R-22. Yes, I used the word tantamount.

Why would there be. The reason for a multi-engine rating in fixed wing is asymetric thrust, etc etc etc. Something helos will not experience (loss of tail rotor is not the same thing, that's covered by your training).

well I thought the smiley kinda explained my sarcasm. I understand that FW is because of asymmetrical thrust.

Although now that I think about it, how do cockpit controls differ in the helo with a standard tail rotor, versus a twin rotor helo?

the rudder pedals control disk angle (hence yaw control) on the tandem rotors, whereas in a single tail rotor helo, the rudder pedals control tail rotor blade angle and thrust.
