NKO Course Problems

Hey guys,

I'm writing because I've been having some problems accessing the NKO courses. Though the Naval History module works fine, Service Etiquette, Military training requirements, and physical readiness training all fail to properly load when I launch them. All I get is some sort of introductory page explaining the purpose of the module. There are no links, page forwards, or further instructions.

To clarify, I am able to access the site, find the courses, and even enroll. When I launch, however, only Naval History does what it's supposed to do. Is this a common problem, or am I having software issues with my CPU? The same thing happens on my parents' computer.

I've been assigned an NKO module to complete, and it's crashed every computer I've tried to do it on.

I feel your pain.

I finished the three that you are having problems with back in mid-December and had no problems. I had a problem with the Naval History but eventually got through it. Not sure what the deal is. Sorry I'm of no use.

NKO is a great web-site! Not being sarcastic at all...I love it. I have taken all of those OCS-related courses and had no problem. If I were you I would do the following:

1) make sure that your browser settings match the settings recommended in the "browser settings" area when you go to the "e-learning" page.

2) turn off your firewall and see if that fixes the problem. NKO doesn't work well with some firewall settings. By turning your firewall off you can see if it is a firewall related problem.

If these two fail then I would contact the NKO support people. I hope this helps Chris. See you on Feb 12th!

Thanks, Joe. The site does have some really great resources. It definitely isn't the most user friendly on the web, though. I'll tweek my settings some more and see if it helps.
