No cross-town agreement

Can you attend a school with no crosstown agreement but still be in NROTC at another school? I am planning to go to CSU Long Beach in CA, but they have no NROTC program. Also, I have heard of going to a service academy but then going into a different service. Can this be done in ROTC?

about the cross town agreement no you cannot attend a school that does not have a cross town agreement and use the NROTC scholarship 99.9% certain on this. try BDCP its another option and it will allow you to get a commission in the Navy.

Concur with Airyk; your school has to be on the list (or a cross-town affiliate) to use an NROTC scholarship. Also, I don't think it's possible to do another service's ROTC program for four years and then get a lateral commission in the Navy.

What if you're not on scholarship?
My goal is to be an EOD officer, and I've read by the statistics that NROTC is better than OCS because of the number of slots. Does EOD offer slots through BDCP?
