One of the farmers up in our area got tired of 152's circling his home/farm/fields looking for the airport so he cut a giant arrow in the field pointing to the airport. Was really funny, unfortunately no one at the airport was laughing when the FAA showed up and asked why the instructors couldn't advise where the field was.
