For those who are/ have taken the NROTC route, if you are not selected for the scholarship before you go to college, what are the selection percentages for those who try to pick up a scholarship while they are in College already? Thanks.

The longer you're in the college program, the better. I'd also look at the attrition rate, because at GT, the # of scholarships didn't change...the people who got them did.

Example: 20 scholarship slots available/given to freshman and 20 show up for INDOC and then 3 decide by the end of the year that it's not their cup-o-tea, 3 scholarships would then be offered next semester to the college programmers...in order of participation with the unit, then grades, then recommendations etc...

My class of Marine Options started out with somewhere around 15 on scholarship. By the time we were all graduating, we were down to 6.

Alright, thanks for the help. I think I can get a scholarship if I try my best, but if I still don't get it, I'll just sign up without one, and try a second time for a scholarship.
