NSI uniform question

In Appendix B of the NSI Information Packet it says that males are required to bring a pair of Navy issue swim trunks. Are they referring to the standard blue PT shorts, or a pair of the khaki colored UDTS that we wore in dive school? Thanks for the help!

No UDTs in NSI. The packet is refering to the blue navy issue swim trunks. You will want to bring at least 4 pairs of them as well.

You can bring your laptop and cell phone, just have the damn thing on silent when you have inspections or else you are going to be pushing floor.
NSI is not bad at all... Nav I and Nav II will suck for a while, but other than that the NSI classes are just really boring...
PT can be rather challenging, but it is a good preperation for NROTC...
You will probably have liberty after 2-3 weeks...you have to sport the uniform though, wich is a good thing in Newport. Live it up.
