I have been accepted as a SWO and leave soon for OCS but have one question before I head off. I scored on the low end of the OAR but above the minimum needed for SWO. My recruiter told me that was good enough, however, I am wondering if there will be long term negative effects of not having a higher score when I get to the fleet. Does a low OAR score limit my ability to be promoted (example being make rank of LT, Commander, Capitan, or Admiral, etc…) or have certain jobs within the SWO community? Any help in answering this is greatly appreciated As I can’t find much on other threads.
