I know that they fly you home from OCS when you are PLC. But if you are OCC and are going directly to TBS do they pay for a flight during that leave period you have in between the two.

The reason PLC guys fly for free is because their orders activate them for 6 (or 10) weeks, and then deactivate them, so they rate free travel. You, on the other hand, will rate free travel for your activation, but won't be de-activated (to my knowledge) between OCS and TBS. You will, however, rate a Home of Record (HOR) move after TBS (or any time in your career) where the movers will show up at your HOR and take all your crap to your new duty station. Not recommended for MOS school unless you're prepared to have all your stuff show up in the middle of school.
