OCS Acceptance Chance/Feedback for boosting chances

Hey all,

I've just been perusing this forum and am curious to hear what my chances might be at getting picked up as an SNA (going OCS route). Not that it is going to influence my decision on trying, but just wondering if there are some things that any of you recommend to boost my resume/chances for selection.

Here's what I'm working with:

Senior at Gonzaga University (somewhat notable/selective school)
  • Finance/International Business Major
  • 3.6 GPA

Jobs
  • Heavy equipment technician
  • Property Manager/Real estate accountant
  • Wealth Management Intern
  • Financial Analyst Intern at Boeing

Other info
  • I don't really have any leadership positions as I spent most of my time working
  • I can get letters of rec from all positions I worked at and some NFO's
  • studied abroad in New Zealand (Anticipating this doesn't matter at all)
  • I have no flight time
  • No criminal record or anything of the sort
  • I have not yet taken the ASTB but will this Winter (I know the ASTB scores really make or break the app, so I plan on absolutely crushing it)

Sincerest thanks to anyone who takes a look at this. All feedback is appreciated, critical, or not.

@Swanee gave you the absolute answer, indeed, the center-of-the-universe answer.

As for the rest, there is only one way to know how you stack up...apply. Your grades are solid, you have the requisite maturity, and you have the fundamental desire. Take the tests, do well, apply, and see how it goes. That is the only way to find out.

Until you take the ASTB none of this really matters, even after the ASTB most of this won't matter either.
