OCS Submission question

I have been looking to the answer for this question for a while, could'nt really find it in the navy documentation about officer programs, under OCS.

What kind of submission is there? is it monthly, quarterly? how long does it take to get the results back? submission cutoff dates etc. Just wanted to know how i need to plan that, if it is submit on a month by month basis, then results come a month later, i am unsure. I would appreciate anything you guys can tell me about the process from when to send the package, to when i will get the results and then determine when i can resubmit if need be. thanks

What are you applying for? Different communities have different amounts of boards.

You should go through the "must read" forum. There is a ton of info there that already covers this.

Bottom line: apply as soon as you can, and try to get it done as quickly as you can. The Navy will usually do something to make it take longer than it should anyway. In my case, I had to wait 3 months for this VIP trip thingamabob, and Skim is sitting on his thumbs after being pro-req'ed.
