Do all documents in my OCS package need to be stamped "original?" If they are not stamped "original" will the board disregard them?

Best to ask your recruiter what he wants and give him exactly that.

As far as needing originals though, I provided photocopies of Recomendations, Awards, Birth Certificates, etc etc etc. As long as it's a good quality photocopy of an original, I think you'll be alright

You DO NOT have to label anything "enclosure", its a wast of time and effort. I didn't label anything "original", or "certified true copy", or stamp my docs "enclosure" or anything like that... they do not care about that stuff, evidently because I was accepted for both Supply and SWO.

And DO NOT include any type of cover letter or legend describing what you are submitting. They know what supposed to be in your application, so they don't need a list from you reiterating what they already know.

The Fleet check list can be found here!.

 Why the hell are you having people fill out a 370? That is NOT a document needed for OCS. You are in serious need of some proper guidance.

PM me young grasshopper :p!!

My personal experience is (which I posted not long ago, can't remember if it was here on AW or USNavyOCS) is that my OR and I thought my package was good to go, but my processor said we needed a 370 from my current employer, even though the current employer (my manager) had written an LOR.

It confused my OR a little bit I think, but we went with it. More 10's can't hurt, eh?

Civilians need 370s, not active duty Sailors. We use Interview Appraisals (form NAVCRUIT 1131/5).

Yeah I was under the impression that interviews were done with officers in the designators I was applying for, and DD-370 forms were used for my character references, which were another requirement of the OCS package.

Where are you getting your information from? What enlisted commissioning instruction for OCS says you need a DD 370? I know for a fact OPNAVINST 1420.1A, chapter 4 (OCS requirements) does not state that!

If some know-nothing NC1 is telling you that, tell him/her to show it to you in writing; I'm sure they cannot.
