Hello everyone. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea how obtaining an online college degree would affect OCS selection (aviator). I just graduated with an online bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. I am kind of worried about that. However, I am prior enlisted aircrew, a private pilot, and have an impressive collection of letters of recommendation from navy Commanders and Captains which I feel may level the playing feild. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I can't recall for sure, but I swear there is a thread that touches on this very specific question. Try a search and see if you can find it.

Your degree needs to be accredited in order to fullfill the OCS degree requirement. Univ. of Phoenix is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, so you're fine.
