You got it backwards. We substitute the 'l's for 'r's.

Okay, enough. To answer the OP's original question, like I did earlier, yes Navy and Marine Corps pilots deploy together on the boat. In 99, our airwing deployed with 1 F-14 squadron, 2 Navy F/A-18 squadrons and 1 Marine F/A-18 squadron, VMFA-323.
