2. When is the best time to report in? Where do we report? What uniform should I be wearing?

I will be there too. Sept 2nd is my reporting date. Hopefully someone down there can tell us what to expect, my school kinda left all of us sna's in the dark on this one.

Expect to do BOLTC. Then get your upchit. Then do IFS (if you haven't already). Then wait around or get a stash job until you class up.

Shibby! Where will you be coming from? Ill be driving my ass all the way from the Univ. of Minnesota. Yea, my buddies down there said we get a briefing and fun power points and stuff. I havent even done IFS yet, have u? Well...good to know someone before hand. Do u have aim? Maybe we can chat it up sometime. See ya bro :)

I can't believe you report to api so quick!! Navy for ya....I got commissioned in May of 04, had to wait 6 months to start TBS....6 months after that I reported down to api. Now I start api Sept 23rd, and that's if things didn't get bumped because of Katrina.

I guess you have to compare apples to apples, but that is a sweet deal going to Pensacola directly after commissioning.

1. Congrats on gettin down here...

2... Report to Bldg 633 (across the street from the chapel) in whites with your orders, medical/dental records and a copy of your last fit-rep (if you have one) and your IFS log book if you have that too... anytime during business hours...

I reported in around 730-800. Be prepared to take a dental exam within the couple weeks after you get here...

After you get down here, (if you're a SNFO), its The Big Wait... especially if you're like me and haven't done IFS...

You'll have to do that, BOLTC (Basic Officer Leadership Class), NOMI medical, PRT and any other command-sponsored menial labor/mando-fun that gets assigned.

Try 18 months (And they wonder why we turned T-notch)

1 week wait, try 18 months during the good old days of 93-94. Of course that allowed for 6 months on P-cola beach drinking Bushwhackers at the Shaker and playing golf and beach volleyball everyday. Oh yea, we worked 3 days a week running the PT for the incoming pool for API. :icon_zbee

The rest of the time was spent watching the Tomcat Squadrons go away in Oceana and attending the last of the glory days at the O'club.

As a former NAPP guy at Meridian it's good to see they have the wait down though..
