Interesting development And a welcome one I am sure. It seems like doctrine and concepts employ much of mechanics from the practical shooting community. Nice to see the introduction and use of shot timers. I know there's been a gradual dipping of the toe in the water the last 10 or 15 years but to see Marines embracing modern techniques is refreshing and in contrast, how outdated the old school snap in and sighting and position exercises of the '70s, '80s and '90s really were.

BlahBlahBlah Iron sights and all that. If it makes it easier to take out bad guys I'm all for it.
You've got to admit though that it's more gratifying to tear up a paper target from 500 yds with iron sights. 😀
