Overseas MPS for retirees

In 2022 DoD was taking action to end postal service for retirees overseas and then put it on pause following uproar with no further updates in the news.

According to the instruction below published last month, it looks like they kept it:

Anyone here using this service? I thought I read an older instruction that grey zone reserve retirees could only use the service upon reaching age 60, but this release doesn't seem to make that differentiation:


"1.1.3 Retired Military Personnel. These personnel are authorized to use non-contingency

overseas locations and are restricted to 16-ounces for incoming and outgoing mail. Once

granted, service can only be withdrawn with MPSA approval. Notes 1 and 2 apply to this

category."
