Got my ticket and have my tickets to Pcola and NFO schooling.

What is wait time for API after I get there (have completed NIFS) and how long between API and Primary? Thinking positive!

Hey Tanya,

I am reporting to Pcola on Nov 7. Where did you complete IFS? There are a few of us Ensigns here in San Diego trying to stay longer, but we are having a tough time getting the Navy to let us do IFS here. Anyway, I hear the wait isn't that long for people who have already been through IFS.

Actually have my PPL, about 200 hours single engine, land. Working on multi rating.

Am an NROTC child, SNFO. Reporting mid Oct. Hear wait for API is 3 to 4 months for NFO even though completed requirements for NIFS. Guess will work on IMC rating while waiting. Hear API to Primary wait is 2 weeks.

NFO's seem to be getting into API within 2 months these days. If you get all of your pre-API stuff - helmet fitting, PRT/swim screen, etc - done ASAP, you might cut off another week or two.
