Stashed Ensign - NFO
Does anyone know the statistics or percentages of pilots going to the various follow-on duty stations for Primary? (i.e. Corpus, Whiting, etc.) Is there any personal choice in this decision?

Well since you are a stashed SNFO, you'll be staying at NAS Pensacola 100%. Statistically speaking, for SNA's the percentages are 38.6578% chance of going to Corpus (only 2 primary squadrons), a 56.2214% (3 primary squadrons) chance of going to whiting field, and a 5.1208% chance of getting AF training. If you go AF the slots are split 50/50 between moody and vance. You can go into stucon and ask for any of the above. They will try to help you out, but needs of the Navy and all.

It varies. The drop for pilots in my class (graduated last Friday) was 8 Corpus, 6 Whiting. Two weeks before that, it was 12 Corpus, 3 Whiting. I remember in A-pool there were times when only Whiting or only Corpus were taking pilots. Right now, the top guys (academically) get first choice at where they want to go.

The classes starting primary in Corpus right now are numbering 15-20 or so, so there's a good chance you'll come here if you're about to finish API. A guy in my API class that finished in Dec is just now about to start primary at Whiting.
