So I never thought this would be an issue. Say someone weighs 220, but has 15% bodyfat 290 PFT i.e. good to go on Marine Corps Height/Weight standards.

Heard some discussion today that if you weigh over 204 you have to sign a ejection seat waiver, what exactly you are wiaving I am unsure. Does the seat not eject if you weigh 205?

Also if your over 235, I heard, you can't fly jets at all. What are the weight limits for helo pilots? If I keep lifting will I be in a HERC, and that's cool, just want to know. This might cause me to have to reevaluate my leadership through girth philosophy.

Thanks for any feedback. Also please include in any responses if limits apply to Navy and Marine Corps or if they are different for each.

The simple jist is that you sign a waiver saying i dont hold the navy responsible if i eject and the plane rips my legs off or any other unfortunate act. This is probably because the initial tests of ejection seats were not tested on dummies weighing more than a certain amount. Dont know for sure.

I've never heard anything about a waiver, but in a brief, they said below 100 and above 235 you will not fly an aircraft with an ejection seat. After you go through medical, they give you a sheet saying what you are disqualified for.
Go 53’s, carrying your truck along for the ride would be like the nat on the elephants ass.
