Possible Problem?!

Hey, I know this topic has been discussed several times, but each thread I read seemed to have a different answer. My goal is to get a NA spot, but I have been diagnosed with allergies (through a civilian doctor). They are minor with just some MINOR swelling around the eye (this does not affect my vision and never has). I take allegra for this and as long as I don't forget to take it, the allergies never act up. What do my options look like?

Thanks.

Its been my experience that the docs only really look at the top sheet of your medical forms and the "have you ever had" slip. I was told numerous times prior to commissioning that "less is more" when it comes to these forms... I put I had allergies down because I was afraid they'd look through some pages and see entries on it. I got blasted by the doc when he read it, then told me that what I probably meant to say was when younger, I had temporary congestion associated with season changes (since I was never tested for them or anything)... and wrote that in the explinations section. :icon_wink

You can have seasonal allergies and fly... They give you Clariden or some other aviation friendly med to treat it... you just go med down for 7 days to make sure that you don't have any adverse side affects from the pills.
