Preference order on package

I tried to use the search function but I didn't yield any results. I was told by a member of my COC that if you place Pilot as your #1 spot and SWO as #2 that the SWO board cannot look at your package until the pilot board convenes. I searched in the 1420.1b but I couldn't find anything in that ether. I wouldn't mind being selected for ether I just don't want to miss a board due to not knowing the dates correctly.

So in other words can whoever you put second choice look at your package before the first choice board takes place?

It goes by whichever board meets first. So if you get selected for your second choice first, your kit will still be reviewed by the board of your first choice.
