I just got a call from my recruiter that I got pro-rec for SNA. I am so giddy right now. I already have my PRT done, EPSQ needs to be signed and my medical situation is almost cleared up. I should be sworn in by the end of the month. Thanks to everyone on Air Warriors, I would not have done so well this far without the gouges and wisdom.

Is there any place to get the official results (ie. # applied, #accepted, etc. to each community)?

Just curious b/c I got accepted today as well for SNA

Ditto. Commercial Aviation from the University of North Dakota. Who knows, we could be OCS buddies.

I just got Pro Rec'd for NFO and I graduate May 07.

gtg, is your recruiter Chief Kingsbury?

yes he is, i heard about you. He said he was pleased b/c he got both an SNA and NFO pro rec at one board.

You go to tech? When do you graduate?

No, I dont go to Tech, althought I probably should have. I go to Toccoa Falls College... which makes me wonder how I ever got pro-rec'd in the first place.

And yeah, Chief Kingsbury talked a lot about getting both of us rec'd on the same day. It would have been two SNA's, but my vision is terrible so I have to settle for the backseat... which is cool... at least I get to ride. I am thinking of maybe making the switch to aviator after getting PRK on my eyes, buts thats a long time in the future and from what I have read, the chances of making the switch are slim.

Anyway, good to hear from someone who is going throught the same stuff as me. All this stuff is crazy, but pretty awesome nonetheless. Let me know how things are going with you.

Congrats on your pro-rec. I just heard I was pro-rec'd for NFO, so I'm pretty psyched about it. Took three attempts, but persistance sure pays off! I graduate May 07 as well...maybe we'll see each other? Just gotta do the PRT and MEPS, then I'll be good to go for FINDOCS.

Here are my stats incase anyone is interested on recent pro-recs:

3.65 Computer Science, University of Nevada
ASTB: 58 7/7/8

Hopefully it's all downhill from here... :)

Alrighty, here it goes:
Junior at the University of North Dakota
Majoring in Commercial Aviation
GPA 4.0
ASTB 8/8/7 63
Officer in 3 groups with different interests (like Experimental Aviation Association, Hall Government, Honors Program)
5 LORs (2 former Air Force pilots, one who was the Dean and the other a Professor, 1 from the Honors Program Director, 1 from academic advisor and 1 from my former flight instructor)
170 hours of flight time, Private Pilot ASEL, 2 weeks away from Commercial Pilot ASEL AMEL Instrument rated with time in 4 planes.
At the time of the application, I had finished my PRT and MEPS exam.

I think my test score and GPA helped, but I know extracurriculars help out too. My recruiter said they try to get well rounded individuals, but then again, what do I know.

Thats awsome that you got the prorec. But here is some advice for someone that is still waiting to get the final select. I got proreced for SNA in the begining of Aug. and already had my medical done my prt done and my epsq finished and they said everything looks great. I had nothing wrong with anything there. But for some reason i am still waiting on my epsq to go through. They said my packet was already looked at by the SNA final select board and it was approved. All i am waiting on is the damn ****ing epsq. Hopefully you wont have to wait as long. Its not like i ever did anything wrong for them to be looking deep in the form. I am starting to think that the paper work got lost in the mail and nobody knows that. But who the hell knows. ( you should beable to sence the frusteration) i was told that it would take at the longest a month and it would probally be more like1-3 weeks.cause everything was in order. But nope i am starting my 4th month of waiting. so good luck.
