Funny how it really hasn't changed all that much --- at least from the view from the left (right? correct?) side of the cockpit. 
Take away an ADI here, an HSI there, some armament controls .... and you basically have the A-6A/B/C/E Intruder cockpits; albeit @ 35 years ago.
This picture also helps illustrate why Intruder crews worked and played so well together and truly considered themselves a "team". Side by side seating does wonders for crew "cohesiveness" and comraderie, both in the air and on the ground.... :icon_zbee
