I read alot of blogs saying after you are pro-rec'd you have to wait a while to go to OCS for a background investigation to be completed. If you are enlisted and include your JPAS and NACLC investigation papers with your package, "like you are supposed to" Do you still have another investigation afterwards? I have a secret clearance and am just wondering if that is for civilians coming in that do not have the background check completed yet. The reason I ask is I'm just wondering if I am hopefully picked up, I will have a shorter wait period? Thanks to anyone who answers!!

I had a secret clearance when I applied, I was enlisted, and I didn't have any long wait, or investigation after OCS. Got selected July 3rd, reported to OCS Sept 7. Hope that helps.
