Question about Marine Corps aviation

First off I used the search enginge and google to find answers and come up empty on the search, so sorry if the answers are in a bunch of threads somewhere on here. As a Marine Corps pilot or NFO, do you travel as much to other countries as the Navy, or do you stay state side more often than not? My othere question is it completely true the mission of the NFO is downsizing in the Marine Corps, if so how soon, and how exactly does this effect getting NFO slots in the future?

Umm, pretty sure that since we ride their ships to the fight - we travel as much to other countries as the Navy...

But seriously, if you're asking how often you will deploy in the USMC - then you can expect 6 months deployed, 6-12 months at home. I don't know if it's quite that bad in the Navy yet, but I think it's getting there...

Canary Islands, Spain (including the Balearic Islands), Italy, Crete, Malta, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Israel. All with 22nd MEU, before I got commissioned.
