Question on Distance Learning degrees

I am currently enlisted in the Navy. I'm about three semesters from having my bachelor's degree from Devry University Online. Am I wasting my time on this degree? Will the Navy accept this degree when I apply for OCS? I don't want to waste my time and the Navy's money if it won't matter or qualify for an OCS spot. Thanks for any input.

Your command career counselor is the source for the answer to this question. I am sure that there are some people here who can say "I got my degree from _____and it was good to go" but regs change from time to time. It is the CCC's job to have the answer for this, and if they don't know it, make sure they dig it up.

IF you are paying for this with TA, then it is an Accredited School according to the Navy, and you are good to go.

I am taking distance learning classes with Embry-Riddle and that are always several other armed forces personal in my classes.

Wikipedia says Devry is regionally accredited, except in like Canada and New York State.
