Question on how API leave works...

well i should be starting API soon, and i was hoping someone could send some info my way... i need to take a monday off, would they allow leave for a monday, for a wedding (sister), would they roll me to the next class for that one missed day, will they even allow leave for this type of occasion? If anyone has had experience with leave during API , please let me know, i would like to know who signs off on leave once API starts...

i tried to get leave a few weeks after i got there, when i asked i found that i was classing up the next week, needless to say i wasnt even allowed to think about leave (they said dont even ask). maybe since its your sister they may let you. and of course if you have a while to class up its more likely, if you're gonna start i wouldnt bet on it.

Leave in API. In the A pool still... no problem.

Classed up, Fri after classes to Sunday at 2359... No exceptions unless someone dies type of thing. You can ask, but no one was granted it when I was there.

Yeah, unless you are in A-pool, you can forget about leave unless it is a REAL emergency like a mother passing away or something like that. Sorry.
