So Im headed to OCS tomorrow and read over the little book they gave us. It says that they want a certified copy of my college transcripts! I was never told this by my OR and they take about a week to accomodate. Will a copy of my diploma certified by a notary work!? I am kind freakin out and not so happy with my OR right now.

Never freak out over admin to begin with. I don't recall needing that information when I went to OCS in Oct 2007, but that's not to say it couldn't have changed. In any event, barring better advise from your OR or Class Officer, I would just bring simple copies of those items. If there really needed you'll be able to get them later. It's not like they'll say thanks but no thanks at the sea wall! On a personal note take Class officer gouge with caution! Our told us not to bother bringing socks, shirts, and underwear b/c all we needed would be provided. That was a very stinky couple of weeks! 
No worries...rest assured that if they DO send you home...it will be after they've shaved your head. So you'll have that going for you...which is nice. Seriously...good luck in OCS and keep your sense of humor.
