I'm currently a criminal justice major and I'm highly interested in becoming a Marine officer and aviator.

Considering my non-technical major, is it possible to get an air contract?

No way man, I'm on the Navy side, SNA, and I was a Psych. major. I think they have this magic formula that they use to determine who gets SNA and SNFO slots, because I can't figure it out for the life of me based on my numbers. Maybe luck has something to do with it. Or PFM.

Well, I never said the Navy or Air Force didn't take non-tech degrees. You're just more competitive to pick up an OCS slot with a tech or science degree.

aaah....OCS. I went the ROTC route, so my grades in high school mattered for that. But I'm not sure how different it is for ROTC/OCS guys to get a SNA slot. I would guess that the Navy pulls primarily from USNA/ROTC, and it would be more challenging for OCS guys to get into the pipeline, but there are a lot of OCS guys here, so who knows....
