This rain, for lack of a better word, blows. I've lived in northern florida since I've been in school, but I don't ever remember Tallahassee getting rain like this for the time of year. Maybe it is because it has been a year since I've experienced it.... For those of you that have been through at this time of year, when will the skies begin to part and rain cease?

Not until after my 36 days for soloing have expired. 4 to go. I've been on the schedule all damned week long, and today was my 4th cancelled flight in a row.

Yeah, I finished Fam 1 on monday. I should be starting BIs by now, but noooo, I still have to brief each flight again when it clears up. And, we have a nice 3 day weekend coming up, but guess who pulled SDO this weekend. Oh yeah, me. Happy times.

FAM 7 cancelled again today... 7th time. And I'm scheduled for wheels watch tomorrow night..

I must have pissed someone off.. I was a stand-by the only other nice day this week. Haven't flown since last Wednesday, and it looks like I won't fly until Tuesday...

Stage III, the FAA Written and the Practical. I'm going into Eglin today to get an endorsement from my ground school instructor for the written test. I suppose it's the next best thing to flying considering I had to cnx my stage III prep this morning for the third time.

Bump. Here we go again. Three days of rain and no end in sight.

The IFR pilot says:

The VFR pilot says:
"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for the clouds have rolled in, and you won't be back for at least a week and a half."

So true... it seems like it won't ever stop. I've been trying to fly for three weeks now, and rain has been the main reason I'm still on the ground. If only I had my instrument ticket...
