Hey
Does anyone know when you get your flight physical for SNA. Is it after OCS or before OCS through this program.

My recruiter at first told me it was before and that if you don't pass you get medically discharged from the program and have no requirement to the Navy.

He later changed his mind and said the flight physical is after you pass OCS so then you are locked into the program and if you don't pass you get assigned to another job.

I don't know what to believe does anyone know what really happens? Thanks!

I had a flight physical before getting into the program, I had one at the begining of OCS and I had one shortly after OCS due to a birthday.

As far as they go... I have seen people getting both flight physicals and standard MEPS physicals prior to getting into the program.

Do you have a medical condition which would prevent you from being an aviator? If not, it doesn't really matter, does it?

If you complete OCS and are then found un-qualified then you would be forced to serve in a different branch based on the contract I saw.

I received a full flight physical on day 2 of OCS and only had MEPS prior to arriving there.
