What are some that caught your attention.

No recruiting poster required. In fact, I don’t recall seeing any recruiting posters back in 1986 [other than “Top Gun” movie posters]. The thing that hooked me was that it was a “JAYOHBEE ENOHDOUBLEYOU” aka a “JOB NOW”. Since being very recently graduated from college [living in my parents’ basement] with a not-so-hot GPA in a field of study that was not very marketable, I was pretty desperate. Luckily, I hit the tail end of the pilot push that was going on in the USN and USMC…timing, timing, timing.

LATE ENTRY: The USAF freaking laughed [out loud] at my not-so-hot GPA.
