Detained in 3rd World places?? That's called: being an international airline pilot.

At one of my airlines, I did some of this type of work (after being furloughed off the line) and ended up being the 'VP in Charge of Aircraft Sales' ... which was kind of a loosin' proposition, as with every aircraft I 'sold' -- it put me that many seats away from ever comin' back to that airline. But it was a real, no-shit suit/tie position, complete with a secretary, a potted palm, a CREDENZA, and a 'real office' in the Fuhrer Bunker, a.k.a. Ft. Lawrence. I brought back some of the Shah's 747's ... PanAm's ... etc., etc. ... dirty business.

Frankly, Scarlet .. I'd rather be flying the Pacific as a 'real guy' for fun & profit ..
